After the overwhelming success of avex Star Search 2008, avex group, one of the world's largest independent entertainment companies, is once again is searching for its next great star.

avex Star Search is seeking talented boys and girls, 13 to 24 of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, who are interested in becoming a performer and recording artist in Asia! avex Star Search is EXCLUSIVELY taking place in the U.S.A.!!!

Selected talent will sign a contract with us and embark on a career as a performer in Asia and must be able to temporarily or permanently relocate to Japan. As skill levels and age will vary among selected talent, contract terms will be set on a case by case basis.

Selected talent may also need to attend our avex Artist Academy at our expense, where they will receive additional vocal, dance, acting, language and modeling training refining their skills at one of our two state-of–the-art facilities.

Hawaii "Pre-Audition" - Big Island - Hilo:

avex star search, a talent search project in North America by avex, finally comes to HAWAII this fall. We are having our main auditions in Honolulu over the 3rd weekend of November!

We have decided to hold a "Pre-audition" on the BIG ISLAND!!!

If you get selected, you will be invited to our Honolulu audition on November 15th!!!
(*One Round trip air ticket and One night accommodation will be provided to each selected participant.)

Audition open to girls and boys 13-24 years old who love to sing, dance or model!

• Singers: Prepare to sing a chorus A capella.
• Dancers: Prepare to show your moves.
• Models: Prepare to show of your style, poses, looks and complexion.

Regardless of where you live in in the U.S., please do not hesitate to sign up! We may consider visiting your city based on the number of applicants from any particular area or a state.

Potential applicants must first sign up online using the audition application form. All accepted applicants will be notified via email about audition requirements, locations, specific requirements, and times. Not all applicants will be accepted.

All accepted applicants under the age of consent for their state of residence (not audition location) must have a parent or legal guardian complete a parental consent form, and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the audition. Parental consent forms will be emailed to applicants, and will be available at all audition locations.
