I was wondering, if we’re in Japan already when the Star Search auditions are happening, will we still be able to participate somehow (provided that everything else is the same, born and raised in the USA, etc.)? Like participate in an avex audition in Japan and have it count toward the Star Search competition?

For the audition, it says you can’t use a non-karaoke track, but is it ok to accompany myself on keyboard/guitar?

I was wondering if there’s gonna be another audition like this for next year??? And another question is I’m currently live in Minnesota and if you accepted my application so do I have to go to a near audition place??? Please have an audition near Minnesota like Wisconsin or Iowa because there’s many people want to sign up for this. However, when they think about the distance and budget, they began to see the impossibilities. Therefore, it would be helpful if you have an audition around the Midwest, Western, Eastern and etc. Thanks

Hello, I am half Japanese and half American and I grew up in the United States until I was 19 but I live in Tokyo with my mother now. I am currently going to college in the U.S. but I go back to Tokyo every couple months and I will finish college in March and move to Tokyo permanently. I have always wanted to be a singer in Japan and be an artist under Avex, my favorite artist are Tohoshinki/TVXQ, Boa, and Ayumi Hamasaki. I understand mostly all Japanese but I have trouble speaking fluently, can I still audition?
I already belong to an agency, can I still attend the audition?
